Vasa Lutheran Church Services Schedule
Sunday Mornings:
9 a.m. service at the Church except on Dec. 21 when we will have the Children's program at the Lutheran Center
Wednesday Faith Night:
6:30 p.m. Wednesday Evening Worship at the Lutheran Center
December 2025
Sunday School: Children preschool through grade 5 are welcome to attend. Sessions are held at the Lutheran Center from 9-10 am on Sunday mornings.
Family Fun Night: The 2nd Wednesday of each month during the school year brings Family Fun Night from 5:30-7 pm. On the agenda each month is a light supper, crafts and activities for the kids, and worship time with Pastor. All ages are welcome to attend--it's not just for kids and it's not just for members of Vasa. The next Family Fun Night of the 2025-6 school year will be Wednesday, December 10.
Sunday, Dec. 21: The 2025 Children’s Christmas program will be held at the Lutheran Center at 10:00 am. Dress Rehearsal will be that same morning at 8:45 am. Remaining practices are on Sunday Dec 7 and Dec 14 during Sunday School.
Following the program, there will be a meal. Families with last names A-N will be asked to bring egg bakes and families with last names O-Z will be asked to bring fruit or juice. Cinnamon rolls will be provided on behalf of Sue H.
December 24: Christmas Eve Worship
Christmas Eve Worship services will be held at 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm on December 24, with coffee and Christmas treats between services.
December 29: Vasa will have a service of carols and readings. Come and put in a suggestion for your favorite carol and it may be drawn to be sung.
On-going:
Tuesday Morning Coffee starts at 9:30 am every Tuesday. Come for some coffee,
treats, and good fellowship with your neighbors.
Wednesday Evening Worship at 6:15 each Wednesday evening. If you can't attend
church on Sunday, or even if you can, this is a great way to share in the Word and in Communion with friends and neighbors.
The Swedish Museum is open to the public until the end of September on Sundays from 11:30-4. If you want to tour the museum but need a time other than Sunday, call the church office to arrange this.
